Consider this! It is no more difficult to make your article marketing campaigns bring maximum benefits to a website as it is to lose the effect on a hap-hazzard campaign. There is little extra effort involved. A simple case of implementing a few easy-to-follow guidelines and anyone can reap the rewards which come from good article marketing optimization. You are probably already doing most things correctly, but the finer points of article marketing can often make a huge difference to the overall effect of your efforts.

Ok now let us imagine that your article is almost completed and perhaps requires just a little optimization before you submit your work to the many article marketing directories available to you on the Web. Before you go on, here are 5 techniques to help you gain the most from article marketing which, if correctly employed, will be sure to bring more benefits from your article marketing campaign.

• Quality Article Content.

To keep your article marketing campaigns effective, always make sure that the content of your article is original, grammatically correct and with no spelling mistakes. Your title or header should be short but eye-catching enough to be of interest, and be relevent to the content of your article. The article body should be interesting and intriguing enough to leave the reader wanting more information. This is where good article marketing can make a difference. Keep to the points you are making and don’t pontificate. Avoid repetition and yet keep within the discussion area of your chosen subject matter. Article marketing pros often Use facts and figures to strengthen the points within their articles, and identify their points numerically or with bullets. All this makes for excellent article marketing practice.

• Using Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

The keywords or phrases you decide to promote in your article marketing campaign are the words which will identify visitors you want to attract through search engine results. They are the focus of your article marketing strategy, so do your research well and choose keywords that are most likely to produce a high ranking search engine position. A good article marketing rule is to use just one keyword or phrase for each article you write. This makes article construction easier, and you will be able to concentrate all your efforts into just one keyword phrase. Your article marketing campaign is likely to struggle if you choose keywords that many others are competing for.

• Keyword Density.

The term ‘keyword density’ refers to the number of times your keyword or phrase is used in the content of an article. It is shown as a percentage of the total number of words in the text. The recommended keyword density for good article marketing optimization is between 3% and 7%. Above this, say 10% density will appear like keyword spamming and your article may be ignored or even penalized by search engines, rendering your article marketing campaign useless. In any case, an article with 10% keyword density will hardly make any sense, when read by a human. Alternatively, if the keyword density is too low, your article may be ignored by search engines, and your article marketing campaign will again have little effect. Ideally if your article is say 700 words long, you should try to use your keyword approximately 35 times. But remember, keyword density in the title, the headings, and the first paragraphs will carry more weight.

Article marketing tip: Remove insignificant and unnecessary words in your articles. This will improve keyword density without adding keywords.

• Article Cloning.

Article cloning, or article spinning, is an extremely useful ploy to adopt when article marketing. Simply take your original article and make a few alterations to each paragraph so it appears like a new unique article. This method of article marketing is typically carried out by the original author or when working with a public domain article. Search engines regard each version as a unique when submitted to article marketing directories. It’s imperative to have unique articles so that they are each indexed. Although this can be time-consuming, there are article marketing software programs available that will clone your articles in moments.

• Article Submission.

Article submission is perhaps the most important part of your article marketing campaign. Again there are many article marketing software programs that will submit your article automatically or semi-automatically depending on the product you choose. Whether using software or submitting manually, always go for quality over quantity making sure you submit to the higher ranking article marketing directories at very least. By using article marketing cloning techniques always try to submit a unique article to each directory and you’ll get the best results from your article marketing campaigns.

So there it is.. just five ways to gain the most from article marketing. Employ these simple tactics with every article marketing campaign and you’ll bring quality traffic to your website or online business. Read article marketing software reviews whenever possible before purshasing software.

No matter how good an affiliate program is, it will not prosper if the affiliate marketer does not pay the price of hard work. One must exert extra effort especially on the aspect of promotion. Nothing will happen if the links or banners would just lie idle in a web page, an affiliate must be able to convince the visitor to click it and proceed to the business site to buy the products. No click-throughs means no income for an affiliate marketer.

You can actually generate a full-time income by means of affiliate marketing and you can do it at home, and yes, even while you sleep. You must have a good web site to begin with. It must have good promotional and informative contents, pleasing design, inviting banner ads and all other important elements in an affiliate marketer’s web site. It would be great if you have exhausted other means of advertising such as newsletters, email marketing, message boards and ad listings such as Google AdWords. You just have to go online once in a while to check your site and update it and to watch over the development of your marketing program. Does this sound so easy?

For many experienced and successful affiliate marketers, the Ad Tracker is a key to a successful affiliate marketing program.

What precisely is an ad tracker? It is a marketing tracking software or program that allows you to trace and take note of every click-through made by visitors of your site and by other customers who got your referral link. There are ad tracking service providers as well, so you will just have to pay them to do the tracking for you. With the ad tracker, you can keep an eye on the progress of your marketing campaigns even offline. This tool or program is especially helpful if you are engaged in several affiliate and pay-per-click programs and have placed ads in emails, pop-ups and pop-unders, message boards, auto responders, Ezines, forums, several web sites, surveys and various ad service providers.

Of course, you don’t want all your efforts to be put to waste so you want to make sure you are getting paid for your hard work. Likewise, you want to make sure every dollar or cent you disburse in your advertising campaigns is wisely spent. With the help of the ad tracker, you will know accurately how many and which of your links where clicked on, how many clicked on your links, how many of your emails were opened and how many of those who opened your email clicked through the business site and purchased a product, how many products were purchased, which of your banner ads or links brought the most leads and sales and many other pertinent facts and figures you need.

Sales records and all data stated are necessary in any business as this could determine if your affiliate program is still worth continuing. This would also help you determine which of your marketing strategies is most effective and which is most beneficial for each product or service you are promoting.

Every decision and plan you make must be well grounded on facts. That decision or plan of action may not be the best, but it is something not to regret about when you had valid reasons for coming up with such decision or plan. You cannot just decide to terminate your affiliate program, just because you don’t earn big in an instant.

If you are serious with affiliate marketing, again and again, keep in mind that your success lies mainly on promotion and your hard work. If you don’t seem lucky enough to convince many of your site users to buy the products, don’t be disheartened and jump into a conclusion that your affiliate program is a failure. If it works for others, it could work for you, too. Know whether your advertising techniques are effective or not, which works best for your program and which doesn’t. Get an ad tracker to help you know all these and you’d surely be on the right track towards success!

Online affiliate marketing began as a natural outgrowth of the popularity of “linking” to other sites. To put it simply, online affiliate marketing is a time tested strategy for making money online. It it is a network of online partners who refer business to your website.

It does not matter whether you have a website that sells a product or a website that has nothing to sell. But by adding online affiliate programs, you can not only add value to your website, but also maximize potential revenue.

Affiliate Programs, they say are the ideal way to make your website profitable.

Online affiliate programs began in the mid-1990,s and are currently a popular way to earn money online. In fact, research shows that affiliate marketing is the most cost-effective way to generate online sales. The concept of revenue sharing paying commission for referred business, predates affiliate marketing and the Internet. The translation of the revenue share principles to mainstream e-commerce happened almost four years after the origination of the World Wide Web in November 1994.

The simplest way is to just introduce your visitors to the business opportunities, products and services that they need, and, “make money online” based on commissions from these sales. In fact, online affiliate marketing is a great work from home business available to anyone with a computer and a desire to run their own affiliate business.

However, there is a catch to “affiliate-marketing”. That is to say over 80% of affiliates never get a check over $100, the 15% get the occasional check and it is the remaining 5% who really get monthly checks of any real size from affiliate programs.

To get started in affiliate marketing, you must know the fundamentals. For which you’re going to need an “affiliate marketing guide” to teach you the basics. Once you’ve studied the basics and grasped the “idea”, I don’t think there is any looking back.

Now, there are dozens of books advertised on various websites, making claims of massive earnings that can be achieved easily. Most of these guides are resell rights of other peoples’ ideas which are marketed under the marketers’ name. Now, there will be a time you may be doing the same thing what they are doing now. This is a natural phase most people go through and isn’t that what affiliate marketing is all about!

I am not saying those books are bad. But there are better ones out there. There is The Affiliate Marketers Handbook and the Super Affiliate Handbook. Recently, another book that is drawing much attention, purely because of the number of sales it has generated in such a short time is the Rich Jerk. The name justifies his character. But his ideas seem to work and the book seems to be on top of the charts. Now what more can you say, but to commend on his niche idea.

You can also look for more such good product(s) and which are in high demand from the ClickBank Mall. Just type “affiliate marketing” or affilate marketing guides and you would get instant access to loads to such products. Provide them your credit card details and voila! you can instantly download the book of your choice.

Although most aaffiliate marketing books are good in their own way, what boils down is to how you implement the knowhow you gained from it PRACTICALLY. Although this may take up some some time, it is to be noted that no books nor any marketing courses can come anywhere close to pure practical experience. Some good affiliate guides are given below in the resources section.

Learning to market on the internet as an affiliate is only step one. If you’re serious about online affiliate marketing, then you have to plan and set up a basic affiliate campaign. This is a start to finish campaign to getting started in affiliate marketing. As a marketing coach, I’ve probably heard every excuse in the book why people can’t market their businesses. You wouldn’t believe some of the whoppers people tell when they’re trying to justify their failure to attract clients.

Now don’t get me wrong; it’s not that failing to attract clients makes one a bad person. Not at all. It’s just that when I hear the following excuses I feel compelled to call ‘em as I see ‘em: Baloney!

If you have the mistaken notion that any of these lame excuses are the reason that your business isn’t successful, get a clue. These are just EXCUSES for people who fail, not reasons not to succeed (a subtle, yet important, difference).

3 Different Ways To Monetize Your Blog

April 27th 2009 | Posted in Blogging
Tags: , , , ,

Choosing how to monetize your blog is a huge decision! There are many different options and it can be difficult to judge which type your readers will respond to most. Take a look at these different options, and make your choice with your readers and the market overall in mind.

Option 1: Adsense

Adsense is probably the easiest way to monetize — and the most difficult! It’s easy because it’s just a simple code that Google gives you (they even automatically match up the ads for you!). You make money as soon as someone clicks on your ads, whether they actually go on to make a purchase or not. Adsense can also be incredibly difficult. You usually get paid a few cents per click and it can take a lot of traffic for it to add up to something that is even remotely worth your while.

Adsense might be a good thing to test, especially as you’re getting your feet wet with blogging. If you’re in the right market and find the right ad positions and colors, it can certainly turn into a nice hands-off income for you.

Option 2: Affiliate Products

Selling products as an affiliate is a great way to make money. For one thing, you get to earn money from the products without having to fulfill them yourself or deal with customer service issues. Nothing is better than that! The returns are usually higher than with Adsense, provided you’re able to find an offer that converts well with the people who visit your website.

You will have to decide if you want to promote digital or physical products. This decision will likely come down to what kind of niche you’re in and how your site visitors will respond.

Option 3: Creating Your Own Products

After you get a loyal following of readers it’s easier than ever to create and sell your own information product! You’ll have to fulfill the orders and deal with customer service issues, but the tradeoff is that you get to keep all the money! You are also the one who knows your readers best, so you’re likely to come up with an offer that converts extremely well since it’s exactly what they want.

You can write an ebook, create a membership site, deliver a paid e-course, create a video series, or record audio. If you want to make the package even better you can combine a few different approaches to add massive value. The options are endless when it comes to monetizing with your own products. Some of your blog readers might eventually want to become an affiliate of yours as well!

As you look at these different options you might start to feel overwhelmed. That’s perfectly normal! It’s hard to know what the best path is when you’re just starting out with a new niche. A good way to get a feel for the best way to do things is to see what other blogs and sites in your niche are doing. You’re not trying to copy them, you’re simply taking note of what works and using it yourself.
